How to prepare falafel burger
Soak the chickpeas overnight in a large bowl, covering them with water.
Drain the chickpeas and place them in an electric blender with onions, parsley, salt, garlic, cumin and ground coriander, then blend until the mixture becomes coarse.
Place the mixture in a bowl, add the flour and baking powder, and stir.
In a plate, place non-stick paper, then divide the falafel mixture into 4 balls.
Using your hand, gently press the balls until they are flat, taking care to maintain the shape of the sides of the burger.
Place the plate in the refrigerator and let the burger cool for hours to help it maintain its shape while cooking.
Heat a large frying pan over medium heat and put oil in its bottom.
When the oil is hot, gently place the burgers in the pan using a spatula and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Place the falafel pieces in the burger bun and serve with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tahini.
