Chicken margarita ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
A teaspoon of garlic powder
A teaspoon of Italian spices
4 slices of mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup pesto
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, cut into halves
A tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup basil leaves, cut into thin slices
How to prepare chicken margarita
In a large bowl, well mix the chicken, salt, pepper, olive oil, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Grill the chicken over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes on each side until completely cooked.
Place a slice of mozzarella cheese on each piece of chicken and leave it until it melts.
Mix tomatoes, lemon juice and basil together.
Cover each chicken breast with about 3 tablespoons of pesto, 1 tablespoon of the tomato and basil mixture, and serve the grilled Margherita chicken hot.
