Ingredients for
chicken noodle soup
1/2 kilo garlic
A large onion, chopped
2 carrots cut into slices
2 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 kilo chicken cut into small pieces
6 cups chicken broth
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 cup vermicelli
Juice of one lemon
Chopped parsley for garnish
How to prepare chicken vermicelli soup
In a large pot, heat a little oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and onions and stir until they become translucent.
Add carrots and celery and stir for 5 minutes.
Add the chicken pieces and stir until the chicken is cooked.
Add the broth and let the mixture boil.
Add the vermicelli and let it cook.
Before serving, add lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the soup hot with chopped parsley
