Apricot jam
1 kilo ripe apricots, washed and cut in half
800 g sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
How to prepare apricot jam
In a large pot, put the apricots, sugar and lemon juice.
Leave the mixture for 1 to 2 hours until the sugar begins to dissolve and the juice comes out of the apricots.
Place the pot over medium heat and stir the mixture regularly until the sugar dissolves completely.
When the sugar dissolves, raise the heat slightly and leave the mixture to boil for 30 to 40 minutes until it thickens.
Constantly remove foam from the surface.
Pour the hot apricot jam into sterilized jars, leave it to cool slightly, then close it tightly.
Turn the jars over and leave for 5 minutes, then return them to the normal position and let them cool completely.
