It depends on many factors, such as the patient's general health status, the type and grade of cancer, and the patient's personal choices.

Surgery:

In surgery, the surgeon removes the area of tissue where the cancerous tumor is located, as well as margins of healthy tissue surrounding it.

- Excision (cut) in the shape of a triangle in order to remove the part that contains the cancerous tissue.
