Ingredients for chicken breasts with red pepper sauce
3 tablespoons of walnuts
10 chicken thighs
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper,
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup roasted red pepper
1/3 cup of fine fresh bread crumbs
1 finely chopped garlic clove with a quarter teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of pomegranate molasses
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon of cayenne
How to prepare chicken thighs with red pepper sauce
Preheat the oven to a temperature of about 475 degrees Fahrenheit.
While the oven is preheating, toast the nuts on a baking sheet in the oven for about 4 minutes
Dry the chicken, then place it in a large baking tray.
Rub the chicken with salt, pepper, and about 2 tablespoons of oil
Bake without stirring for about 35 minutes
While the chicken is baking; Mix the paprika with the bread crumbs.
Add the walnuts. Process the garlic paste, pomegranate molasses, cumin and hot pepper in a blender until you get a smooth paste, about one minute.
Add 6 tablespoons of the remaining oil and mix well
Season the sauce with salt, then sprinkle it over the grilled chicken.
