Lentil Soup with Turmeric
Turmeric Lentil Soup Ingredients
3-4 tablespoons of olive oil
1 medium onion
1 potato
2 cups of red lentils
1 tablespoon of flour
Salt
Black pepper
1 tablespoon of turmeric
3 cups of broth
2 cups of water
Ingredients for the topping
Olive oil Red pepper

Take olive oil in a soup pot and heat it.
Then add the onion and sauté until it softens.
Add the diced potatoes and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add the lentils and turn once. Add
the flour and continue to sauté.
Then add the salt, pepper and turmeric and mix.
Add the broth and water and let it boil.
When everything is combined, remove it from the stove to your counter.
Blend your soup until it is smooth with the help of a hand blender.
Add 2 cups of water and mix, then put it back on the stove and boil.
For the topping;
Put a sauce pan on the stove and add olive oil and heat it.
Add red pepper flakes and mix.
Pour into your soup and mix.
Serve hot.
