2 cups of broccoli pieces

A large onion chopped

2 cloves of garlic chopped

3 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons of flour

4 cup chicken broth or water

2 cups of milk

2 cup grated cheddar cheese

Salt and black pepper according to taste



How to prepare broccoli and cheddar soup

In a large saucepan over medium heat, heat the butter, add onions and garlic and stir until the mixture becomes soft.

Add the broccoli pieces and stir for 5 minutes until the broccoli is slightly cooked.

Add the flour and continue stirring for 3 minutes until the mixture becomes oily.

Add chicken or water gradually with constant stirring.

Leave the mixture to a boil, then lower the heat and let it boil for 10 to 15 minutes until the broccoli is completely tender.
