Honey Cookie Ingredients
1 egg
150 gr. granulated sugar – 1 finger less than 1 cup
80 ml. honey – 3 tablespoons
120 ml. sunflower oil – 2 fingers less than 1 cup
1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1.5 teaspoons ground ginger
¼ grated nutmeg
½ teaspoon ground cloves
1 pinch salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ tablespoon cocoa
300 gr. flour – 2 + ¾ cups
Ingredients for decoration
200 gr. chocolate chips
A nut of your choice
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar well with a mixer.
Add the honey and sunflower oil and continue beating.
Then add the ground cinnamon, ground ginger, grated nutmeg, ground cloves, salt, baking soda and cocoa and continue beating.
Slowly add the flour and mix with a spatula or your hand.
Let the cookie dough you have prepared rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Then take it out and shape it into rounds with a small ice cream scoop or your hand and place it on a baking tray covered with baking paper, keeping some distance between them.
NOTE: You will get 20 cookies.
Spread the cookies by pressing lightly with the bottom of a glass.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 12-13 minutes.
After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them rest on the counter until they harden.
Melt your chocolate in a bain-marie and dip half of the hardened cookies in the chocolate, decorate them with a nut of your choice, wait for them to dry and serve.
