Ingredients for ricotta pancakes
4 cups ricotta cheese
An egg
1/2 cup sugar
1.5 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
A teaspoon of vanilla extract
oil
How to prepare pancakes with ricotta.
Mix the ricotta cheese with the egg and vanilla well.
Add sugar and mix.
Add flour and baking powder and mix.
In a plate of flour, using a tablespoon, scoop an amount of the mixture and then put it in the flour. Coat the ball in flour, then shape it into a flat disc.
To fry pancakes, add about a tablespoon of oil to a frying pan and heat it over medium heat.
Add the pancakes, then cover the pan with a lid and fry for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until brown.
Serve the ricotta pancakes with jam of your choice, maple syrup or honey.
